www.egypttoday.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=5235And I thought the world was getting smarter..... It amazes me how the politically-correct forces in Hollywood are so stubborn and resistant to the truth. After seeing the multiple reconstructions of King Tut, the reconstructions of King Ramses II, Amun-her Khepeshef. After seeing the results of HOwell's and Brace's studies on Egyptian remains. After seeing the mummies of various Pharaohs. After looking at the ways the AEs differentiated themselves from black Africans. That they would still cling to such a stubborn notion that the AEs were black never ceases to amaze me. Halle Berry is going to play Nefertiti, thats right, Halle Berry. How can they make such casting, just look at the egyptians involved in the film. After seeing Egyptians looking like this, how can you still cling to notions of black Egypt? www.egypttoday.com/imageview.aspx?ID=8621[/img] Hopefully the day will come, when the SCA finishes all the reconstructions in the Cairo Museum, that the PC liberals in Hollywood will finally wake themselves up and realize the lies that they've been propagating for so long.

Well they even had Denzel Washington playing Ceasar on Broadway here in NY,LoL!
Berry is also a mulatto.
Talyor as Cleopatra made sence cause she was Greek, but mostly all other portrayal's of her have been by Negro actresses like on the Hercules TV show..What a Disgrace..

I'm eagerly awaiting a movie about Elvis starring Samuel L. Jackson as the King himself.

LOL, stop sipping on haterade already. Lol, your just an insignificant message board poster who rants and whines about egyptians being portrayed as blacks in your distasteful online crusade, who cares what you think. Hollywood producers have the power to mold and influence public views and opinions and you have the power to whine on the internet. Get over it or become a producer yourself.

A mulatta Nefertiti doesn't bother me as much as a black Hannibal. At least Halle Berry has clear Caucasoid ancestry to appease the suit that Nefertiti, if not completely white, was at least half-white. But Denzel is just another handsome black man.

Someone of West African and English/Irish ancestry is unlikely to make a convincing Ancient Egyptian, at least in my eyes. Elizabeth Taylor and Halle Barry would both be ridiculous IMO.
Hire a real East African or Egyptian to play the part.
