Ananova News Article titled: "Italian stallions are more of a tourist attraction than museums"
"A poll of female tourists from Sweden, Germany, Finland and Britain found Italian men were the country's second most popular attraction."
"Rome's Institute for Inter-Disciplinary Studies says 22% of respondents go to Italy because they hope to meet a hunk." www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_278205.htmlLOL. I'm really not too suprised.

Here are two somewhat typical Northern Euro males, and probably something Nordic women wouldn't exactly warm up to.

Andy Warhol was the son of an emigrant from Czechoslovakia. He never engaged in Nordicism, so stop using him for your offenses.

I was just using Andy as a "model/artist" for a "somewhat typical" pheno-type of a northern Euro. Czech. is nothern enough for me, btw. Here, on the other hand, is what a typical masculine Italian male would look like.

I learn things everyday on this forum. Andy Warhol was of Czech origin, I thought Hungarian for some reason.
I looked it up. Andrew Warhola's parents came from Mikova, Slovakia near the border of Poland and Ukraine and were of Ruthenian origin. So I guess he was Slovak. He wore a silly blond wig by the way. He was dark haired.

Czech Republic and Slovakia are divided since the end of the Soviets, is that a right assumption?

Most italian men look the same as brownhaired english men or brownhaired german men.
There is hardly a difference in looks between Europeans, only the proportions of haircolours and eyecolours differ between countries.
So who cares? lol

The guy on the left on this pic looks Southern-European not Northern-European. The man on the left is British. Here is a similar looking British man. What is it with British males and androgyny??

Who cares that he is British? That is irrelevant. He has a south-european look. There are lots of British people that look southern-European. Like I already said : Europeans dont differ that much from eachother : there are enough blondhaired blue eyed people in Italy and Spain, and there are enough brownhaired brown eyed people in Ireland, Britain and Germany etc. The only difference between Italy and Britain is that Italy has less blond blue eyed people than Britain. The great majority of Italians could pass easily for a brownhaired Brit or brownhaired Irishman or brownhaired German. We have lots of Italian immigrants here in the Netherlands and almost all of them could pass for brownhaired Dutch people. All Europeans are the same race (Caucasian) so these debates are silly and useless.

I think the Mediterranean is it's only special race, we fit loosely into the caucasian family, but we are gratefully distinguishable from northern Europeans. I feel more affinity to an Italian than I do a Swede. We simply don't want to be confused with a northern Euro. We have our own culture, traditions, genetic make-up, looks, history and language. We have been civilized a millenium before the barbarians of the north. Please be a little bit more careful how you classify. Nordic women can certainly tell the difference, so can you. I'm a little offended, especially coming from an anthropologist.
