"Jebel Moya, in the Sudan, is about 250 km south southeast of Khratoum. The population dates from 1000 B.C. on and is represented by a large cemetery. Mukherjee, Rao, and Trevor(1955) used D2 to relate the series to other Africans , finding it closest to West African groups(Ibo, Cameroons) and furthest from such as Tigre, Egyptian E(our Egyptian reference series) but also Teita."
W.W. Howells,"Who's Who in Skulls", p.19
The fact that jebel Moya is closer to the two West African groups used and distant from Teita, but by no means absolutely demonstrates variation in SSA and that all so called "True Negroes" don't look alike .
