You mean her? She's brown and that's not considered fairskinned in Pakistan. Pooja Bhatt would be considered fair.

cocacola, do you have pictures of Pooja Bhatt? The one on the right is Pooja Bhatt. The one in the middle, a Pakistani actress is considered 'fair skinned' in Pakistan of course.

Yes, they are fair-skinned with a reddish tone. My own colouring (skin, hair) is like the actress in the middle. Funny thing is, I'm a bit darker on the face and the neck than rest of my body. I can tan my neck, arms and shoulders quite easy, but never the rest of my body, for some reason.

Are you fairskinned for a Lur or is that type of colouring common among them?

To be honest I really don't know about Lurs in particular since I don't know any outside my own family. I can say that in my family most of us have either the above mentioned colouring or a light tan colour (except for my older brother who's very dark, but he's really the odd man out here). I don't think there's much difference between your average Lur and average Persian.

I agree that Pakistanis have different standards of "fairness", but Pooja Bhatt is quite brown. I have seen Aishwarya Rai. She's quite fair skinned if you ask me. She looks no different from many Pakistani models. This is pooja bhatt:

Ramsharma, I was talking about this model (sorry I don´t know her name) My question is, if the lady above and the one you posted (Pooja Bhatt) are deemed brown in pakistan, and so would the two very dark fellows in the background, isn´t there some term for the shades in between? Or is it just a dichotomy Fair/brown? I remember reading on this Indian matrimonial site www.shaadi.com that some complexions were defined as "wheatish".

She looks no different from many Pakistani models. This is pooja bhatt: skin colour of actresses can look different but I think ashwaria rai is brown skinned judging from most pictures not taken in studios or movies. Pooja Bhatt looked quite fair when she came to Pakistan. In this picture she looks fairskinned too. eufrenio, women in pakistan are considerably lighter skinned than men except for the ones that work in fields or work out in the sun. The girl in the picture has light on her face while the guy is in the shadows so their skin colour can't really be compared added to the fact they are different genders.

A lot of Pakistanis have a yellowy olive colour which isn't really fair and not really dark and to be honest I don't know what the colour is called You should go to matrimony sites. People almost dark brown call themselves fair or very fair ;D
