I was at the store today and saw a blonde, blue-eyed woman whose appearance I took notice of because I thought she looked extremely East Baltid. I also wondered whether I saw Alpinid and also Ladogan influences... I drew her face from memory a few hours later. I thought all her features looked very sturdy and well-formed. She had browridges. Her ears were large for her square, broad face and I noticed that they were vertically placed (most peoples' ears tilt slightly backwards at an angle). She appeared about age 50 (I guess from jowl area slightly sagging as with myself). I think she was a Mennonite, due to head covering and dress. (There are a number of Mennonite farmers in my area). I don't see people who look like her very often in my area of the United States.

yes she seems a Borreby-like type. Borreby (and Ladogan) types are very versatile with many tendencies (Nordic, Alpine, Baltid, Dinaric etc) and can very specialized (Progressive, reduced etc) so there are dozens of sub variants.
Do you know if the Mennonites come from a specifical ethnic group?

I think most if not all of the Mennonites in my area have German ancestry.

East-Baltid (although not as pronounced as Finns proper) Germans are not unheard of. I think most if not all of the Mennonites in my area have German ancestry.

Extreme Alpinid or Eastbaltid...in the fully reduced state they can look alike... What was her height? Wouldnt exclude larger Cromagnoid tendencies being alive in her

Dalic-Carpathian type blend..I would'nt rule slight mongoloid thrown in the solution somewhere however.
She looks a bit like your male drawing you had made previously.

Yes, when I finished the drawing, I realized that she looked somewhat like the male drawing I had done earlier. I think her eyes and browridges were similar to his. She was about 5'4", sturdy build, on the chunky side but not fat. I think that both of them attracted my attention because I hardly ever see people who look like them around here. Many of the Caucasian Americans I see here have a more blended look (Irish/English/German + slight Amerindian admixture is much more common here than say an extreme East Baltid)

I live in Lancaster, PA. Mennonites and Amish are very common. Most Amish are actually dark- Dinaric-Med-Nordic mixes. Mennonites are usually Borreby, Nordic, or East Balitc. I believe most AMish are from Switzerland which would explain their darkness and racial composition as it is between Italy, the "Dinaric Belt" and south of Germany where Nordics are common to a degree. Alpines are uncommon though for some reason. The Mennonites, I would imagine would come from throughout Germany and Switzerland, explaining their strong, but varied looks (as most families had kids and still do have kids with the original Mennonite population that came over from a specific area in the mother country.)

There is a Mennonite girl who sits next to me in my Communication class who looks like a skinnier version of the lady in the drawing.
