Mound Bayou isn't far from where I live in the Delta so it holds special significance to me.

Honor, with Pride. Peace Of course this is pride in some way. This town was founded by an ex-slave who along with other African-Americans built a thriving town in an era that was very difficult for African-Americans.

Why post pictures? I'd have to drive to the twon itself to do that. Its not a ran down town and its still quite prosperous.

White nationalists could never create a town as prosperous as Mound Bayou, they're far too nationalistic and destructive to do anything plus white nationalists don't have a good track record for achieveing anything except talking a good game.

Mound Bayou has been in existence since the late 1800s and it isn't a town of black nationalists. It flourished in Mississippi in the late 1800s all the way up until now in the middle of Jim Crow land. Afrikaners are being oppressed, they're just a bunch of wusses who are mad that South Africa is finally giving ownership of the government to the native African people. Bottom line, no comparison.

;D HA! HA! HA! Foreigners, lol! The city was already "chocolate" as it was ~68% Black American pre Hurricane Katrina. Now its about 20% Black post-Katrina. The mayor was pandering to his Black base and trying to allay fears of having NO become a white mini- suburbian city due to flood plan restucturing.... LOL!
