if you placed a han chinese and a yoruba nigerian on a desert island - what would the culture/offsprings appearance/language be like?

Any one have any info on the people of madagascar? I find them fascinating (how its a Afro/Orientalid mix - the only one of its kind in the world - or are there other countries like this???)

Those children look familar, like supposed Ethiopian children!
The asian element in Malagasy people is more Malay/Indonesian/Polynesian not Northeast Asian like the people of the Han tributary of the Hwang Ho or Mongols. The Southeast Asians often lack epicanthic folds and other more mongoloid features and they are darker skinned.
To the premise of Nigerians and Han Chinese. They would probably eat each other rather than mate. The Han Chinese are notoriously racist towards negroes and black skinned races. Negro and South American indian mixes are common. Generally these Zambos are considered to be the most ugly race mix and the least desirable.

sorry guys - the pic that i previously thought to be ethiopian children was INDEED of malagasy (as shown in this forum!!!) I was given the pics by a freind of mine who was also told they were ethiopian.
But I would still like to maintain that I have seen people that look identical to the pictures I have shown you.
What is the purpose of the epicanthic fold may I ask - do you need it in an 'ethiopian' climate??

Strangely enough, their offspring would look exactly like Max Von Sydow and Greta Garbo and would be ethnically similar to Hasidic Jews.

I don't think there are any countries other than Madagascar which are predominantly Negroid-Mongoloid mixed, although Amerindians are kinda mongoloid, so 'Zambos' - Black-Amerindian mixes (found in most of Latin America) - would be an example. Also Brazil probably has a fair share of Japanese-Black/White/Amerindian/Mulatto mixes. many countries in the Caribbean have mixed Black (West African)-Chinese (i guess Han). Naomi Campbell is part Chinese, Nicole Lyn is half Chinese, and so is Tyson Beckford. so that's a few examples of what they'd look like. dunno about the culture/language though  |
