Police cruisers swarmed a man's car last Wednesday on heightened alert after the murder of 15-year-old Jane Creba. The man turned out to be Jason Bogle -- a 26-year-old black, Toronto lawyer who says he is going to sue the police after alleging that he was a victim of racial profiling.

Bogle drives a Lexus and says he was parked with his girlfriend on a west end street after celebrating his birthday when six police cars swarmed them. He alleges that he was then accused of having a gun and drugs.

"To see not just one, but a number of persons running out of the vehicle and grabbing open your door while you're just sitting there parked is an event on its own," Bogle told CTV's Desmond Brown Tuesday.

As one of Toronto's youngest black lawyers, Bogle knew his rights and refused to let the officers search his car.

He then questioned the police on why he was stopped and was told that it had to do with the Creba murder.

"There was a direct reference made to the shooting that occurred on Yonge Street," he alleges.

Bogle says he told one of the officers that he was a lawyer and gave him his Ontario Bar Association card.

He alleges that the officer's "exact words were… Oh, so you're a lawyer and a drug dealer."

Bogle says the shakedown was everything his parents warned him about when he was growing up and that many within the black community are relating to his experience.

"The entire black community of young men should not be in a position of fear through the entire duration of this investigation," Bogle says.

Toronto Police Spokesman Mark Pugash said that they are adamant that the officers were professional throughout the process. They also claim that they went to extraordinary lengths to explain to Bogle why he was stopped.

Bogle will be filing the lawsuit against the Toronto Police Service in court tomorrow. Canadian Press reported Bogle planned to sue for $1.5 million for wrongful detention and inflicting emotional distress.

"They really picked the wrong person to mess with. But then again, they picked the right person," Bogle says.

He says he is suing because he wants the police to change their procedures.

It's a safe bet that Black immigrants (and I stress immigrants) are responsible for an increase in violent crime in Toronto. Canada is the greatest country in the world to live in, in terms of safety, tolerance, opportunity - we have the right balance. Thus, there is no excuse for any non-White group in Canada to engage in crime and then blame it on social prejudice. If anything, homosexuals are the most villified people in this country and yet they are not murdering, stealing, raping, defrauding, etc.

As far as immigrant criminals are concerned: 'kick the buggers out.'

This was a man that was acting suspicious by sitting in a parked vehicle, whom was likely "profiled" insofar as he looked like a criminal! No doubt related to the fact that a 15 year old Canadian girl was gunned down by subhumans, whom the police are obviously desperate to find. Maybe these minority scum bags should give 1/10th the amount of effort in moderating their own people and communities, rather than try and defraud the very same People who let them run amok in the first place, the Canadian public.

This is as clockwork as it gets. These people are bombarded daily with propaganda designed to establish a clear (fake) line of Victim/Victimizer, which is just a cheap euphemism for the REAL divide, which is inferior/superior. The only reason they take issue with this kind of nonsense: this racial profiling "outrage", is because PC agitator monkeys tell them to take issue.
For this reason it shouldn't be surprising. In the end the majority always loses, whether it be police inaction because of feared repercussion, or another that comes to mind is Airport security wasting precious manpower by ransacking 90 year old ladies purses to check for nail clippers, rather than "profile" and make their accuracy improve fathoms, thereby making the public safer, opposed to this PC nonsense that compromises public safety.

Not true regarding crime in General. In many instances, if not most, two of the most prolific Gangs are from India and South east asia, and come from wealthy families with complex ties in among themselves, live in affluent neighbourhoods, and still commit crime.

Because he brought up the issue of wealthy families from affluent neighbourhoods involved in crime. It was just a rough example.

No it does matter Phrost because when you bring up the Italian mafia it just proves dukeofpain's point that NonWhites are more prone to crime than Whites after all dukeofpain is a White supremecist and most White supremecists see Italians as inferior to Northern Europeans there for NonWhite so you should have used the Irish mafia as an example instead because unlike Italians,the Irish are actually considered White by all White supremecists,skinheads,and Klan members.
