If this is to be a forum aimed at giving various ethnicities a platform to raise their views then moderators should perhaps reflect this.
All so far are 'pro-med'.

1. I'm not mediterranean.
2. How can I be pro-med, is there such a concept as being pro-(some phenotype) ?
3. No one has threatened to ban you because of your opinions, no one has been banned or warned because of their opinions.
4. This forum is about discussing anthropological issues, everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of their phenotype, ethnic or religious background. ( No insults will be tolerated ).
5. More moderators will be appointed in the future, but not according to their phenotype, but according to their conduct and their ability to assist in upkeeping this discussion board.
So, you see, this is where we come to discuss, not to play games of power between various hobbyist groups.

The handles you make up, Susanne...) has a point. While it makes a lot of sense for the forum owner to nominate first the people he trusts the most, in my modest opinion, the moderators should try to reflect the variety of posters. It all comes down to the individuals themselves, but I remember how much it annoyed me to see that Lawdog (a Stormfront mod) ALWAYS chose the Nordicist side no matter the evidence or the data presented, and ALWAYS accused the meds of divisionism. This forum is intended to provide an open and fertile ground for discussion, tolerance and fairness. All these intentions would be stressed clearly with the appointment of a diverse "police force" . As early as it may be to mention names, posters like Melnorme (Israeli), Teuton (American of Austrian ancestry) or Kukul Kan (Mexican of Iberian/Jewish ancestry) all have the adequate profile to make excellent moderators - in my opinion, any of the three would make a better mod than I. I am quite sure that Dienekes will choose wisely, when time proves it necessary to expand the number of mods. That would mean more members and more interesting arguments - something we all surely want.

Moderators exist to ensure that evil spammers don't destroy the message board, not to be some sort of United Nations with quotas for the various racial and ethnic groups of the world.

Because AWAR claims the pics were too large (when they weren't), he simply didn't like what he was seeing.
That is corruption and proof that this person is not suitable to be a moderator.

I didn't see the pics, so I can't say whether they were too large or not. It's a good idea though -in a picture-heavy thread- to post large images as links out of consideration for users who don't have fast connections. Feel free to post the pictures again, exercizing your best judgement as to whether they should be posted as links or as images. To administrators/moderators: Let's edit the posts of new users if they contain very large images, replacing them with links. A good definition of a large image is if it's more than 800 pixels wide. Also, post a note in the modified post, explaining why you changed the pictures into links. I will make a permanent entry which you can point to, so that you don't have to type in long explanations.

I resign. Seems this AWAR is a pathetic wimp who cannot stand being booted in the balls by a girl.
What a pushover! One debate with me and already he/it crumbles!!

Interesting. It seems that Keltia's only role here was a failed attempt to prove that this is an opressive board.
Keltia posted huge images of disfigured and retarded people. I see no reason for these pictures being in a George Clooney thread. This and the sheer ammount of bandwidth lost due to the pictures would have gotten Keltia banned or warned on any other discussion board.
I would like to use this opportunity to ask Dienekes and other Admins/Mods to create a separate part of this forum only for mods/admins, where we could move the inappropriate posts without deleting them.
Nothing should be deleted, plus the work of any Admins/mod would be tracked by his peers and the owner.

Looks like you need lessons from SF. That isn't why I chimed in, I want you to look at this: www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/thread?forumid=262869&messageid=1070130870

Keltia, you're a real screwball! I suppose that you are supposed to be Keltic with that moniker. You're probably Irish or Irish American. Not the same thing, woman. Real Kelts lived on the continent and unfortunately were absorbed by Germans, Slavs, Italics, Greeks etc long ago. That culture is deader than the Latin language. From my study of Gaulish it seems close to Latin. Who knows what the Irish are? Certainly not Kelts.
From what I have seen the moderators are quite tolerant particularly of people who seem to dislike people who live around the shores of the European side of the Mediterranean. No one is forcing you to go there, so stay in whatever safe cocoon that you live in.

Graeme, Keltia has resigned from the forum a while ago. I doubt that she's reading this ( perhaps she's under a different username, but that's her choice/problem
