Someone who used the address archon@dienekes.com tried unsuccessfully to send the virus Netsky to me via an email attachment. I can only assume it is someone from this forum.
It did not work ;D. I am very careful when communicating with complete strangers on the net. All I can say is grow up or get some hormone injections if you are not man or woman enough to handle opinions differing from yours. I have a feeling who it might be. Someone of Armenian descent perhaps?

Obviously it is not DP who from his works has shown himself to be rational and mature. But I have had three offensive replies to my posts and I have noted their pseudonoms. It was someone from this forum. I only belong to two, and one I hardly visit because it is boring and racist.
And how did he obtain my email address? Accusations indeed.

These viruses work in such a way that the user doesn't even know he's infected. Perhaps the guy who sent you the email didn't know he has it, also there is a possibility that his computer is sending emails to everyone without him knowing it.
The virus locates his adress book, and then sends itself to everyone in that adress book, plus to some site that the creator of the virus wants to destroy. Thus the creator succeeds to make millions of computers to send emails to a single server and block it.

Over the past couple of days, I too have had viruses sent to me repeatedly. It's coming from one person and is directed to an account I rarely use. One of the supposed senders is "mhammer" (medhammer?), but I know medhammer wouldn't be doing this. I have a suspicion that for whatever reason some members here might be the targets of a vicious hacker, possibly an angry racialist lurker. It could just be a coincidence, but two people targeted with viruses from the same forum?

It's possible that Graeme was impacted by a virus using his address from an address book, but the address of archon@dienekes.com is too much of a coincidence. If he and Dienekes communicate with the same person, or if he and Dienekes have some kind of relationship with each other, then it's probably a coincidence. If Graeme doesn't know any of the members here very well, or has no friends who know the members here well, it seems obvious that someone targeted him with the intent to obtain information on him or currupt his computer.
