The author of "A Vida de Jesus" can hardly be considered a bigot. Plínio Salgado´s grandparents (on his father´s side I think) were from the Viseu district in Portugal. Plínio Salgado was born in the interior of São Paulo. He was exiled and lived in Portugal for several years in the 1940s, after the failed AIB coup attempt against Vargas. The bulk of Plínio Salgado´s ideas (such as organic democracy, municipalism, etc.) were not really Fascist in the strict sense of the term but rather based on the traditionalist Integralismo Lusitano movement, which was founded in Portugal in 1914. Gustavo Barroso, who was from Ceará, was more influenced by Italian Fascism and the Germans. However, he never strayed ideologically from the orthodox Brazilian nationalism of the AIB, which put the Brazilian reality before and above any imported ideologies. S ANAUÊ!

That is a mediterranean WWI soldier from Wales who just happens to resemble Plínio Salgado. According to Kemp, this man is one of the few pure Mediterraneans left in the world today. Of course, a Portuguese man with an identical phenotype would be considered a mulatto.

His hair, which appears to have a wooly texture, as well as his eyes and nose do not look very "Aryan". His skin tone is ruddy but not as depigmented as the other two men in the original photo. He does not resemble at all the allegedly nordic heroes which illustrate his pamphlet. If the archaeologists ever found a Greek statue with Kemp´s likeness he would be the first to claim it as more "proof" of "non-white genes" in Ancient Greece.
