Northern Pakis, possibly a parallel stream of proto-IEs.

Northern Pakis, possibly a parallel stream of proto-IEs. Kalash people-they number around 4000 but attract more attention than anyone else in Pakistan. It's hilarious when people say they have Greek origins because the people they look the most similar to are the pathans from the surrounding areas not the Greeks or the Sicilians or whomever they are compared to.

There are various languages spoken in Chitral but the Kalasha language is classified under Indo-Iranian and/or Indo-Aryan. Hindi is classified under the same categories. From wikipedia: "The recent view is to classify it as an independent branch of the Indo-Iranian superstock, but a few would class it with the Indic group, while another would characterize it as originally Iranian, but greatly influenced by the nearby Dardic languages of the Indic group. In any event, it would seem they arrived in their present homeland at a very early date, and unlike the Indics, never entered the Punjab."

The very light skinned, light eyed people of parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan as I mentioned in another post either speak Nuristani or Dardic languages, both of which (especially Nuristani) are sometimes grouped in their own branch of the Indo-Iranian languages. In my opinion, they are close to the original appearance of the Indo-Iranians (perhaps Indo-European speakers as well) since they were isolated and did not mix with many. Many of them remind me of people of the Caucasus and the Balkans. They are a very attractive people indeed. Twelve and fourteen look pseudo-Amerind. I have noticed that before posting the pictures, It just show that a certain amount of mongolid admixture affected that supposedly isolated group.

they look similar to balkanians because they too gone through a process similar to dinarization. they live in the mountains and violent societies. by that i mean tribal war, is frequent. this guys show some european features but they also have some non-european admixture, especially noticalbe in the women who look like native americans or something.
however original indo-europeans were not dinarized, they were steppe people. i would say the people that most resemble original indo-europeans are ukrainians.
