he's more on the nordic side. Give me a break, he is as Baltid as it gets unless you have a very twisted idea of Baltid and a rather wide concept of Nordid as a type. I altered the image in an exaggerated manner to show a difference.

Nicely photoshopped ! I do agree that your example of the East Baltid is indeed very East Baltid. I tend to choose people with snub nose, because it's so distinctive.

Aethiopids and Northern Sudanids/Europid mixes tend to look more like Quadroons or Meds etc. Rather than "typical " mulattos. Ethiopian/Swedish singer Emilia looks more indian or Med to me

Ethiopian/Swedish singer Emilia looks more indian or Med to me Usually they look still mixed, but could sometimes pass as Gracilindids f.e. in some ways, however, the really more Europoid are different - I saw once a girl which was half Aethiopid-Nordid which looked really like an even very progressive Mediterranid type - just the curly hair was still a sign, everything else... Emilia and the Swedish football player are examples for Europid dominance but with still clearly visible Negroid influence.

Eyes, nose, mouth and the rest aren't overly typical for Baltids. He's more nordid than baltid - with our without Photoshop........ I'd trust Ilmatar's opinion and mine over yours. He is a typical Baltid Finn. If you think he is more Nordid, fine. I guess that makes most Finns Nordid then... Which I disagree with. And the features that you say aren't typical Baltid, well seem to be typical indeed. So I don't know what you base your claims of un-typical nose, eyes etc. on. All I can think is that you have a very unrealistic idea of Baltid as a type and a common phenotype if you think his eyes etc. are untypical for Baltids . PS. I don't use Adobe's Photoshop, Jasc PaintShop Pro is my tool of choice.

He is at least no typical Baltid, thats for sure. Whereas his headshape and facial shape in general seem to fit, his eyes and nasal shape f.e. are definitely rather Nordid than Baltid. So you could call him Baltid with significant Nordid admixture imo.

There is always the problem when different nationalities are classified. I agree with Holger that the man in the picture looks very Finnish. And many Finns are as Nordid as Baltid. The "ideal" Baltid type often referred to is expected to have snub-nose, thicker lips, conspicuous cheek-bones and the like. But most Finns don't look like that. Many have features in that direction (preferrably women), but often not more than in Holger's picture.

He's just not a very good example for a typical baltid - get over it (and it doesn't matter that he comes form a country that's next to the Baltic sea, just like not everybody from the Alpes is Alpine).

Perhaps they'd like to post their own "typical" examples instead of bickering and naysaying. Oh wait, I think I have the example... Oh yes, it is Coon's Goblin, Lundman's Troll. ;D

You are right, he is not a typical Baltid. In Finland they are packed with people much more round and snub nosed than him.

as you all know by now (hahaha) I'm half Nordic(and a bit Atlantid) half Aethiopid! I am way more Europid than Negroid (although I look partly mongoloid)
