It does not make much sense to assemble such a list if one does not care what ethnicity the individuals are. After all you are attempting to display an average look of a specific population, and placing photos of Celts to represent Germanics, doesn't cut it. Same would go with the Latvians and Slavs. On the other hand it is interesting to see other White admixtures into the composition of a state created by a specific stock.

The biggest problem is that these peaple are old. Its virtually impossible to seperate old white peaple from other old white peaple. So politicans are a very bad way of ppl classification. But its interesting that some people acctually still believe the myth that all swedes are blond. Jiises. Is this the seventies? Not even a majority is...

Because as discussed here... dodona.proboards35.com/index.cgi?board=physanth&thread=1113775500&action=display&start=15The definition of what is blonde seems to be a lot more loose outside of Scandinavia for example, all light-brown haired types are considered "blonde", when they clearly are not.

Oh, well that is true. Ppl outside from areas where dark brown or black hair is common tend to think normal brown, or light brown is blond. But still. Those politicans that showed the swedes where perfectly normal swedes. Noone would question them if they said they were from Sweden.

I am Swiss and lots of Swiss people are dark haired. I think the idea that people from outside Sweden think blond is light brown is silly. Blond is blond, and every blond person I have seen in the natives of Crete, Majorca, Turkey or wherever in Europe or the near East has been blond not light brown or any shade of brown not dark brown or black. I think the argument is silly.

Well, he's from Northern Ireland and that's part of the U.K., so he qualifies as a Briton. You don't really understand UK politics. the picture you refer to depicts Gerry Adams, leader of Sinn Feinn. If you called him a Briton - he would smack your face in. Northern Ireland has only been part of the UK since 1921.
