No offense Gareth but I am not sure what the usefullness of that rather clearly rascist tract is. Its hard for me to take an author seriously when he takes of one race as primitive and course and equates everthing elegant or strong with Europeans. Besides he speaks in vague generealities.

How do you mean oriental? As in The far east or the middle east. The later is what I think is implied here. I was of the impression there was substantial south west asian ancestry in most of north east africa. To me you look distinctively different from west africans, which are the orginal black type in the new world and the common american mixes, you also don't particularly remind me of The ethiopians, Kenyans and Sudanese I have meet and seen that have shaped my perceptions of east africans. Thats why I guessed somali there is something about your features especialy seen straight on or obliquely that reminds me of some facial features of people from the arabian peninsula its hard to pin point it though.

Yep you defineatly share some features with people I have seen from the arabian penisula. Which is not say you look like an arab with black skin. Far from it. I could see a connection but You look pretty damn distinct. I have never really meet in people who looked like you. I really want to go to east africa I think the region is fascinating.

I just wanted to show you him because there are Somalis that look like him.

In some picks you look more like a common african american types but overall you look pretty distinct to me. As to the picture yeah thats amazing. I have allways thought african morphometric diversity was groslly understudied. Like I said I would love to tour around africa. I have been amazed by the different apperances of just the east african I have meet.

I agree. According to the information that you gave about black-african subraces, how would black americans be classified? Would we be classified as a mix of sudanid-palenegrid, caucasoid, and mongoloid? Or would it be difficult to classifiy Americans in general?
