Some pics I saved from deletion: Ectomorphs are described as tall and thin with a delicate build and small bones. They are lightly muscled and typically have trouble gaining weight either in the form of fat or muscle. In terms of physical activity, they may perform well in endurance events. Sheldon also suggested that due to lack of muscle and body fat, ectopmorphs excelled at mental tasks. Obviously, Sheldon stereotyped ectomorphs as introverted, bookworm types. Mesomorphs are described as muscular or athletic individuals with hard, angled, mature appearing bodies. They gain muscle quite easily, but add little or no fat. From a psychological standpoint, mesomorphs are action oriented, rather than mentally focused. Mesomorphs are stereotyped as dumb jocks. Endomorphs are described as larger individuals with a rounded and softer appearance. They are believed to have trouble losing weight, especially fat. While Sheldon described them as gaining muscle easily, others have regard them as non-athletic with little musculature. Sheldon believed that their focus was on the gastrointestinal tract with little interest in activity resulting in the stereotype of an easy going, lazy, overweight person.

mesomorph. Italian body all the way (including the large bazooms). Now that I`ve entered my 30s and had a baby, I`m having trouble licking the chub that Meds tend to put on.

Except my big head, I'm the almost pure ectomorph.
I also never participated in sports. A real healthy person should, I guess. I have troubles with e.g. dealing with cold in my room during winter. Or even bader: I get crooked posture of carrying heavy things because my total lack of fat. It was the reason I was rejected for becoming an involuntarily recruit, saved me a year. My weight is 55kg / 120 lbs.
Concerning the psychological traits I think that intellect comes from a process of long and intensive work. It's not the Mozart-thing, "the whole symphony popped up during a single second".

I remember William Sheldon's work. He came up with the concept of the somatype in the first place. But his attempt to link personality traits to the physical form is dodgy at best. There are very active ectomorphs and endomorphs, while there are mesomorphs who are just plain sedentary. Mesomorphs can also gain fat as well if they're not careful with their diet and physical fitness.
