What's that have to do with anything? Where did I say people like Khan were coming over? Do you have to exaggerate anyway? That was the point, if it's even relevant--that you claim Mestizos and Indomestizos are "Aztecs". You actually claimed the Mexican residents in this country who would figure into our national IQ average were "Indians". Of course newer immigrants are more Indian (I doubt most speaking Nahuatl--another exaggerration), but they're these are illegals. They're irrelevant to the IQ deal.
But again, what's this have to do with anything other than that you're likely to exaggerate (for an effect I'm not getting) and say the person's an Aztec if they're any less white than Khan?

Forrester, Of course, I'm hyperbolizing. It's what I do. It's who I am. As to Mexican IQ. That's a sad subject. The illiteracy rate in Mexico is enormous. So-called Latin America has a bad habit of locking the aboriginal peoples out of the educational systems. I don't know about Mexico, but in Peru the Indians were locked out--the Indians who were 97% of the country. Unlike the U.S., the schools weren't free. You had to pay. The only way you could afford to pay is if you had a job that required a college-degree, and you couldn't have a college-degree unless the previous generation had money to send you to school. It was a Catch-22 situation designed to keep the whites in power and to lock the Indians out. I don't doubt that Mexico is in a very similar situation. It has to be, judging by its illiteracy rates. So how can scientists perform valid IQ tests on a real sample of the public. My wager would be that Spanish-Mexican IQ is within the typical European range, but that it's dragged down by the poorer elements whose test-scores wouldn't be so good (due to their lack of education). So it' not a racial issue so much as a socio-economic issue. Mexicans need to start taking care of their own citizens--otherwise they're going to keep getting these sub-Saharan level IQ-scores (that are arrived at deceptively).

Peru is only 45% Amerindian, the most important group over Mestizos, whites, afro peruvians and east asians like Fujimori but not 97% of the population.

I don't know if these are horrible, but as far as I know, Mexico's education system is decent. It's free up until about year 10 or so.
As for Peru, as said, they're only half Amerindian.
As for Indian IQ being at SSA level, I'm sure it's rather low, but that's not really safe to say. SSA level is 59~ to 77~
Zambia 77 Congo 73 Uganda 73 Sudan 72 Jamaica 72 Kenya 72 South Africa 72 Tanzania 72 Ghana Nigeria 67 Zimbabwe 66 Guinea 66 Congo 65 Sierra Leone 64 Ethiopia 63 Equatorial Guinea 59.

Peru, half-Indian???
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha
Sure, they are!
Go travel there and tell me the racial make-up. Remember: Latin America usually decides "race" according to language. So if a fully-Incan Peruvian casts off his native clothes, becomes a Catholic and eschews Quechua for Castilian, then he's recorded as "white".
I was amazed at it, myself. I saw a guy who could have jumped off a piece of Incan pottery. And my friend down there said, "No, he would only be considered a mestizo here." "But look at him," I challenged. "I don't see a single Caucasoid trait." "Caucawhat?" she replied. "As long as you dress in Western clothes and speak Spanish, they'll call you mestizo--even if you're 100% Indian, racially."
I've seen the same thing done in other Latin-American countries.
If you doubt it, then travel there--and then we'll talk at greater length. Peru, only 45% Indian? --Sure they are!
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha
P.S.--Forrester, Mexico's average IQ is 87. The average American-black IQ is 85. That's why I referred to Mexico's "sub-Saharan-level" scores. But you're right: Blacks in Africa tend to score a good ten points below their mixed American cousins. One Irish professor got in trouble for wondering aloud if the IQ differential was due to Caucasoid admixture in the higher-scoring American-blacks.

What do you think of this? white or mestizo? dodona.proboards35.com/index.cgi?board=raceclass&action=display&thread=1137700215---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I recall correctly iq for amerindians and hispanic in the USA was in average in the high 80´s low 90´s, lower than whites and east asians but higher than african americans, at leats according to IQ of nations, and Steve Sailer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to leave now, but later I will try to find some stats of Peru from the colonial Period, which were quite accurate. If you google them they may bot be so hard to find.

The AMA concluded the higher score was probably largely the cause of admixture. One of their arguments were the blacks from Alabama with little or insignifigant European admixture that had an "SSA" IQ level of about 70.
There's a similar false number out there about Argentina--supposedly 98% white rate. Whites at 80 with Euromestizo making up the difference might be more accurate.
However, a trip wouldn't be that useful. It's a large region. A genetics survey would be better--not that I can find one.

Educate Me has alot of knowledge about South America and it's racial make up. Thats why, when i need info on South America i would ask Educate Me on what he knows about his area.

Still, it has to be confirmed. If they're Indomestizos, Drooperdoo's point is close enough (though CIA says 18% are not Amerindian at all).

Forrester, If you look phenotypically white, you're white. I know that Argentina has admixture with Indians. But when you walk down the street in Buenos Aires, you'd think you were in Europe. When you walk down the street in Lima, Peru you'd think you were back in time during the Inca Empire. So I'm not shocked when a phenotypically Caucasoid Argentine describes himself as "white" despite having 2% Amerindian genes. Winston Churchill's great-grandmother was called Sitting Bull because she was Amerindian. So Churchill had Amerindian blood. Yet he referred to himself as white--as indeed any sane person would. So I'm not amazed at an Iberian-looking Argentine who refers to himself "white" than I am a phenotypically Incan man who pretends that he's merely mixed with Indian, when in reality he's probably 98% Indian. That's not a mestizo. That's an Indian with a drop of Spanish blood. That one drop doesn't change your race. Likewise that one drop of Amerindian blood in an Argentine doesn't cancel out the 98% of Caucasoid genes. If you look like this guy, I'm going to refer to you as Indian: Yet, in Peru, all this Indian would have to do was take off his hat, speak Spanish and his "race" would magically change on the census form. By contrast, here's a picture of typical Argentines. It's sheer madness to pretend that these people belong to the same race as the Peruvian.

That wasn't my point at all--or rather it was, but with the "white" population. It's they who are mixed and have low, insignifigant admixture.
The "Euromestizos" however have noticeable Indian features, but are 70-90% European, or whatever. More than half.

I would never consider the Amerindian man Mestizo even if he took off his Amerindian clothes and dressed Western.

Vgambler, Neither would I.
But you're not a typical person. None of the people on this board are. We all know too much, lol.
