They were not my students. They belonged to another faculty. You would not believe the number of male lecturers who came in with their children for free paternity tests. There are lots of untrusting men out there. Most students do tests own their own DNA, and it is more interesting than working with plasmids or conjugating bacteria.

Do you mean electrophoresis? Those gels are a pain to do properly especially with a shakey hand. You can thank Isaac Newton for calculus.

sorry for ambiguity, my bad syntax confused you. actually, i addressed my question to Gudagai.
I was just wondering what kind of acadimic facilities do lecturers provide (in return for testing). And I was mistaken for student looking for clients - due to my bad english.
