I am O+. Both my parents are too. Dad might be A+ now. That's what he told me, unless he misunderstood the doctors. He had cancer and had to have some kind of transfussion, blood or marrow. IDK which, I wasn't there. (I found this out long after it happened - we're not close) Anyhow, oh it was marrow. His sister, an A+ was a match, they had to do a total blood transfussion as well. A+ blood. Mom's ancestry is : German, English, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, Italian, Amerindian, etc. Dad's is : Grandpa was adopted, and Irish, English, and who knows what else.

I read one of his books awhile ago, and it was pretty interesting to say the least: Type O: oldest blood type; "hunter-gatherer" blood. Type A: next oldest type; "farmer" blood. Type B: next oldest; "nomad" blood. Type AB: a modern adaptation, no more than 2000 years old. Sounds a bit flakey, I know, but something underlying his theory must be sound.. I'm O- and follow most of his eating advice (lots of meat, veggies, fruit, anything accessible to an ancient hunter-gatherer), and I've lost about 40 lbs since summer '03. I eat more now than I ever have in my life, sometimes five or six times a day, and I'm beginnig to look different. My physique is taking on a form similar to ones you see in old pictures of Native Americans--that bony, lanky (but still muscular) look--and I feel much stronger. Is anyone familiar with Dr. D'Adamo's theories regarding blood type and diet?

I understand that the B bloodtype is a nomad type. I think I'm A. It would be interesting to see where the Vlachs fit in all this. If there really is a connection between Type B and nomadism, then I would think they'd have the most B in the Balkans.

I have a theory... type RH negative came from neaderthal... (I HAVE AN obvious NEANDERTHAL GENE) ;D Reason for my theory? 1-there are some recent findings of ancient neanderthal hybrids (lapedo child)... do a google on this words... 10000 years after the last neanderthal died... 2-RH negative womens can reject and attack a positive baby son...how curious...tipical inter species problems... 3-the RH negative region is in a very obvious neanderthal region... there are no neanderthals in africa or Asia! So only europeans and middle easterns have this neanderthal gene (maybe even more neanderthal genes...like maybe red hair???) If only there was some samples of neanderthal blood to see if they were RH negative... Regards! Vitor

Type B: next oldest; "nomad" blood. Sweet. I always wanted to be a rebel soul.
