They are not all of the same type.
Are they from Caucasus? Georgia?

In fact, they are Romainans. The pictures are from a secondary highschool in Cluj (Kolozsvár, Klausenburg), Transylvania. It's notable how the differ from their Slavonic (and Hungarian) neighbours. Not only in the darker pigmentation, but also in the head shape and facial features. The only "Slavonic" guesses were the culturally and linguistically close neighbours Bulgaria and FYROM, which makes sense since the Bulgarians (and Macedonians) have a stronger Mediterranid influence than other Slavs. Romanians seem to have much more in common with other Dinaricized Mediterranid populations such as Albanians, Basques och some of the Caucasian peoples. I also agree that they can be grouped in different types. According to the pictures, some share a narrow face with a relatively higher head (and sometimes broader forehead) and a short nose. These are the most schoolbook Pontid: Some are more Dinaricized, often more Albanian- or Turkish- looking. You can find even more different types.
