Hands down the most beatiful women in the world are Poles. The population is largely german/slav, just like in east germany. That area of the world (north east germany and western poland) IMO is home to the most uberbeautiful women in existence.

Wasn't there a thread on here somewhere saying 50% of US Black males had white male chromosomes. I mean, it's probably not that high, but most of their huge amounts of white admixutre comes from just that.

Is there any backlash in the African American community for chemically altering the hair? Are some people fed up with the idea that woolly hair is ugly? I remember coming across some African-American board on accident and some woman was complaining that Bo Derek made braiding your hair like a black woman cool for white women while black are sometimes told they're trying to make their hair white by straightening it.

Is there any backlash in the African American community for chemically altering the hair? Are some people fed up with the idea that woolly hair is ugly? It is not just that simple. Black people with natural hairstyles are less likely to receive a job they interview for than people with relaxed hairstyles (or in case of a male, those who shave their heads). I know of community service agency that helps to employ black youth that encourages them to get rid of locks/braids before interviews.

By the same token, someone with a huge, frizzy, unruly Jewfro would also be encouraged to tame his 'do. I think there is a slight prejudice against curly hair, and it doesn't just apply to blacks. Many female I-bankers I know straighten their hair because they claim it looks more polished and professional. A lot of people think curly hair looks grungy or messy.

I think straight hair is in fashion, 15 years ago everybody had frizzy hair, also because it was fashion. ![](http://www.sonoranliving.com/gallery/gallery%2Feighties.jpg) ![](http://www.houseofdiabolique.com/jersey3.jpg) ![](http://www.houseofdiabolique.com/jersey1.jpg) ![](http://www.houseofdiabolique.com/jersey8.jpg) ![](http://www.houseofdiabolique.com/jersey2.jpg) ![](http://www.houseofdiabolique.com/jersey6.jpg)

That is major '80s hair!!! ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) I don't think people take much note of ordinary curly hairstyles over straight ones. Most curly hair is not unusually unruly-looking.

As a child, I was often told that my hair was 'bad,' unruly, too curly etc. Then, at times it 'came into style' and people told me that they wished they had my hair. I pretty much ignored them and wore it the same way since age 14 to 49--long, curly natural style and color, parted in the middle. I like my hair now--I didn't used to. ![](http://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/Itbit/hair3.jpg)
