I do not not even know. Definetely Northern Africa. There is such a diversity. I see Congoid elements in some boys, then girl on the first picture has traces of Mongoloid race. Are they Tunisians or Mauritians? Could be also Sudan.

Right, they are Upper Egyptians from Qena. I feel that Alexandrian will be mad ;D Some of them look typically Egyptian...like the Bin Laden man Mujahid posted...the kids look pretty non-Negroid too....but some of the pics...I doubt..

What are you doubts Alexandrian? Are there no Egyptians at all with Negroid looks? There are some, but some of these people I don't think are Egyptian. Especially this guy: I've seen a lot of Egyptians in my life, but i've never seen any that look like those two kids in the front. Anyway, most of them don't have very many Negroid features aside from curly hair. Sure, they're dark-skinned but that basically means nothing, so, no, Shenuda, I'm not "very angry". Look at the kids in the first pic, I detect no negroid features in any of them.

Historically it is possible to have some minority in Egypt with strong Negroid features because of geographical factor (early and late migration), historical (Nubian period in Egypt). It is definetely minority, like in every countries on border exist mini-ethnicity of their own because of assimilation and other geographical factors.

Many if not most of them have visible Negroid admixture, which was probably the point in posting them in the first place. Why do you say that them being dark-skinned basically means nothing? It's pretty obvious what the source of such dark skin is. Just because they are not 100% Negroid doesn't mean that they don't show any Negroid influence.

Just because they are not 100% Negroid doesn't mean that they don't show any Negroid influence. What are you talking about? Dark skin means almost nothing. Southern Indians and Sri Lankans are often pitch black, but they are not Negroid. Pakistanis and Indians are as dark as the above-posted people and they are not Negroid. Have you ever seen people from southern Saudi Arabia and seen how dark they can get? It's not always due to Negroid blood. Also, factor in the fact that these people spend all day, every day, outside under the hot desert sun. If egypt was as modernized as Lebanon or Saudi, the people would look different.

Well, it is not only about skin, but cranofacial type. Few people on photos have congoid fetures. It is noticable in low wide nose bridge, scull shape, cheek bones, etc. They look like Nubians. I cannot believe that Egyptians on borders did not mix at all. They cannot be completely isolated from iteracting with another race.
