They do look like gypsies and it is possible to find gypsy descended people in Brazil like any other ethnic or racial group. im Brazilian and i have never seen a gypsy in my life, they are not common here. Caipira say they are from the state of Minas Gerais, but i doubt thats where they are originally from, most of then look like typical Northeastern Brazilians, especially the 2 girls in the second picture.

Necronomicom, can you please post a few photos of white Brazilians (white being defined as having no obvious non-Europid admixture)?

They don't look like gypsies (I've seen plenty of gypsies in my lifetime). They look like Southern Europids modified by Amerindian and Negroid admixture (except the bottom picture, which shows several obvious Negroids).

There´s a problem... if I sayd that that first couple was European, people would never tought about Amerindian ancestry... But you know they´re Brazilian, so you tought about Amerindian ancestry... The point is: Racial classifications can be too unanbiguous... Caipira !! Actually, if you told me that the first couple were pure Europeans, I would never believe you. The guy shows obvious Negroid traits.

Finally a good analysis...
Typicall Brazilians are like that. They look like Southern Europids modified by Amerindian and Negroid admixture.
And yes, those people are from Vale do Aço, eastern part of Minas Gerais state. Yes, they look like mineiros...
Caipira !!

Probably people here will find Amerindian or Negroid features in those White Brazilians... They found an "obviusly" Negroid ancestry in my father that´s from Uruguay and came from a pure European descent(Spaniard/Italian)... The reason ?? A larger nose...
They classified my mom as "with a sligh Amerindian ancestry"... Because she has small eyes. But even my father doesn´t have Negroid heritage and my mom doesn´t have a single dropp of Amerindian blood... But o.k., mistakes with pics are common...

One thing I noticed about Brazilians is that they tend to be attractive -- not just the White Brazilians (who are a large minority in Brazil). The Euro-Amerindian Brazilian women tend to have very graceful figures -- it seems that in Brazil the mixing has produced a very attractive mixed-race population.
This does not mean I support race-mixing -- it's just my view that many mixed-race Brazilians are more attractive than many pure White women.
The photos of the White Brazilians provided by Necronomicom affirm my view of the general attractiveness of Brazilians.

The white race is beautiful and so are white people where ever they may be.

The south and the state of São Paulo. Would you say that most of the self-identified "Whites" in that area are "White" by North American standards?

Would you say that most of the self-identified "Whites" in that area are "White" by North American standards? Don't know exaclty. But that is the area with the most number of "White" by North American standards(as you said) 'cause of the recent immigration.

The 3 Southern States (Rio Grande do Sul, Parana, and Santa Catarina) still have a white majority, in the rest of Brazil whites are a minority. There are many whites In the state of São Paulo, it used to be a white state, however due to non-white migration from the northeast Sao Paulo has been turned into a non-white place, still many small cities located deep in the state of Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais still have a white majority. most people in the pictures Caipira posted look like typical Northeasterns, they may be living in the Southeastern State of Minas Gerais but they are still "Nordestinos". The people I posted are all from the city of São Paulo where I live. Would you say that most of the self-identified "Whites" in that area are "White" by North American standards? no, 55% of Brazilians claim to be white, but most aren't, i estimate the white Brazilian population in about 25%, other Brazilians in SF will estimate it in different numbers, that goes from 10% to 40%.
