I believe in God. Not a personal god, but a creator. The reason is that there is no way (I could explain in detail but it would take awhile) that the big bang could have occured and time started without external force. Even natural quantum fluctuations could not have started time itself.
As for the afterlife, I dont know. I doubt it exists, and I dont really care. I dont see why God would make an afterlife. There is enough of the reprecussions of God on earth and in the universe to enjoy while we are alive. I guess I am just weird that I believe in God but I could care less about an afterlife.
Religion-speaking- I am a Roman Catholic. They have the closest beliefs to what I hold true.
