Murphee hit the nail on the head. When you wade through all the anger, sensitivity, and muckiness around here there is still Intelligent Life. There is a lot of "Us versus them" mentality so you have to tread lightly. I see so much Black/White animosity and it's pathetic. Southern Euros getting jumpy b/c they are called "mixed". Nords getting pissed b/c someone claims they have a drop of Mongloid blood...People still arguing over HOrners, Ethios, and Eritreans and whether they evolved or are just mixed...just silly to fight. Yes in the world as in the internet there is bad people and good people, this really hits the nail on the head, wow, I'm stunned by this revelation. You the good people are very smart to realise it and put it in such well construed propositions we all thought it was only good and wonderful or bad and horrible people. As for the rest of what you said, is not the mixing, alleged or real, the problem, but your ignorance and at the same time your claim to have something to say that has the same standing of everybody else's opinion just because you exist. Thanks to god it doesn't work that way. Nobody forces you to post, so when it emerges a deep ignorance of what genes are, what Europe is, what Europe is not, what the rules of logics and induction and deduction are, what everything that is important to understand this world is, you can't complain if you are insulted. Actually, your claim to have something to say is insulting. Your better suited for some astrological signs/ generic women wisdom forum. Go there. Sorry to burst your bubble Nock but I have just as much right to be here on Dodona as you. Perhaps you are better suited for the Argumentative Antagonistic Forum. Perhaps you should go there. I'll bet you know everything, don't you? Please tell me the meaning of life... Afterall, you are correct about everything. This is the internet and you are a Genetic,Social, and Cultural Genius! Your word is GOD! All Hail Nockasswright!

People who [publicly] don't like Aroundtheworld list: Nockwasright [new]Yankel Human2 Charlie Wadad Alaina Annienormanna Magneto Forrester, you forgot to add your name to the list. Didn't Annienormanna just join? Isn't he/she just an old member using an alias? I have a pm from Yankel asking what I was up to. It's funny how people are all nice in pm then show off on here to appear powerful and boastful picking fights in threads. The way I see it, if someone doesn't "like" you they should just leave you alone.

If Dodona was a family (why be shy, this is more than just a society), human2 would be the uncle who shows up drunk and makes a scene at the Christmas dinner! What would you be!? What would I be!?. Human2's problem is that he constantly like to put himself 'out of the bunch/system' to see others from an external super-angle ( --- He loves to play the role of the chimist studying a gas, not that of a molecule in the studied gas); Practically all his recent threads were written from that perspective. That only denotes a problem of extremely high self-esteem (which we ALL have in more or less pronounced degrees, Btw!). Unfortunately for him this time, this thread is based on a totally wrong quote.

I am from New York. My gender may appear less determined because I was taught how to write, I am extroverted in a post-feminist way, and I had a premier education which didn't stop after I "completed" academia. Three brothers and two son's later, I'd have to be an airhead not have learned how to debate with men or smack them down if I had to. Mom taught me well. Now get off my lawn! PS: The Jews in New York would refere to you as a "schwartze maedl" It wouldn't be an offense since it is Yiddish. But knowing you you'd take it as such.

Perhaps you are better suited for the Argumentative Antagonistic Forum. Perhaps you should go there. Can you explain why the second "you" is in bold? It would have some meaning if you had said I should go to the astrological forum (then it would be to underline the "you go, not me"). As it is I count it as an evidence of malfunctioning brain. Life has no meaning. This told, how did that funny "are correct at everything" pop in your mind? When you want to describe, seriously or ironically an omniscent being you say he is correct about everything? What do you do in that hospital, btw? What has "this is the internet" to do with the rest of the sentence? I guess you call C. Sforza a Genetic Genius (with capitals. Genius and his Adjectives are written with capitals), and Max Weber a Social Genius, but Cultural Genius? would this be opposed to Natural Genius? Where did you go to school? Then, shouldn't it be "your word is the word of God!"? Who in the world says someone's word is God to mean it's sacred? I mean who but you. Oh, this stung. So brilliant.

Murphee always seems on edge and comes across very pensive. It's as though she fears being disliked and unpopular for fear of an attack which she would suffer from personally. She's almost the devil's advocate, at other times like a mother-figure. But it's all to protect her ego so no one says anything too hurtful.

This is Captain (changed my user name). I like you, but I disagree with you. I think that Murphee is calmer and cooler than most of us (myself, included) because that's her personality. She keeps things in perspective. I doubt that she cares about being popular on a message board. She comports herself in a civil and cordial way because she's a nice person.

LOL! Methinks you look too deeply. You'd make a good shrink, Trog. I am a straightforward, simple type.

Ya know.. the replies to the first post are basically all beside the point. No surprise. No one said, "My gosh! You are right! Gosh we all know race is as present as the reflection you see in the mirror every morning, and we all know generalizations have some truth to it and it's impossible not to and even natural and fruitful to generalize, but life and the 'verse is not at all about race as the bottom line. Who can reduce individual human beings to being three sentences in a dictionary day in and day out? It makes me want to throw up." I thought I did write "let alone", honestly. I figured something like that would be your comment. Yep, human2, that is NOT something I said. I quoted someone else. Nobody likes to be attacked. This place is like anywhere else in the world, Internet or real--lots of jerks & lots of good people Well, the world isn't fair, is it?
