Debt is the least of Africa's problems. Corrupt leaders are the biggest problem for Africa at this very moment.

Blacks are incapable of creating prosperous 1st world countries thats why Africa is poor as hell. and which is why americas present wealth and power was generated largely by black slaves from africa? what do you say about eastern european countries and caucasian countries like Bosnia, Serbia etc that are way more mashup than say ghana or zambia or botswana? while most of northern europe lived in caves with animal skins running about screaming, Ethiopians of the Axumite empire were Christian and had an empire stretching over to the arabian peninsular - they also had a writing system and a coinage system. now i know you gonna say 'yeah but look at ethiopia now' but that isnt my point. my point is to say that it is nothing to do with race, its due to politics.

Not at all! It came from the white middle working class of the Industrial North. The black slave labor on the cotton fields of the south wasn't a major contributor to the rise of America. Also it was the whites that defeated the British to gain our independence and who at that moment started to take our place as one of the most powerful nations.

I think you have that in reverse. Five thousand former slaves fought for the British. They were suppose to have been compensated by being given land in Nova Scotia. But the local whites wouldn't accept it. So they were given land in in Africa.

I think that Africans will be almost wiped out by the HIV virus. Then with AID debts lifted and investment into their economies by rich asian investors can pull any african country's economy. duh

Those soldiers, and I'm assuming their familes, were the first and then the US dropped off more free blacks decades laters.

i would recomend you to look more deep in informations about africa because many people here get no idea about they talk and what that mean in african realty for example why anyone ask themselfs why there no any submarine in all african navies(single one historically)if you want to just use that type of ship you need intelligence and skill almost equal with use of spaceship for african people to have submarine in their navies will be a sience fiction

I'm fairly certain African navies could use more primitive diesel powered submarines such as the venerated Soviet Foxtrot class...

Corrupt leaders, and shipments of arms in exchange for Africa's wealth are the largest of Africa's problems. Eastern Europe isn't wealthy, but they largely have peace and national stability, so they're on the rise.

gelaye: I wouldn't compare ANY African countries to the former Yugoslavia or Eastern Europe; the former are Third World, the latter are Second World - a little-known term describing states formerly behind the Iron Curtain.
