Those of you who are in-the-know, pray tell, when do you postulate this assumed great population change from Caucasoid Saharid to intermediate Tuareg took place?

I recall reading from Herodotus about how the Garamantes chased the Troglodyte Ethiopians (the modern Toubou) on chariots. So, Tuareg-like or not, it's obvious the Garamantes had contact with black people. What is the relevence of these ugly people to do with Garamantes? Are they supposed to be Garamantes? You could post a turd and it would have as much relevence to the Garamantes or any other deceased ethnic group. You guys are wierd in the extreme.

Learn to read, Graeme or Ponto or whatever your name is, I said that the Garamantes CHASED people like the Toubou of Chad on chariots, meaning that they had contact with black Africans, that they weren't some isolated Berber group with no contact with the south. Take that as you will.

Yes their Mediterranean Caucasoids end of story.. Bass is just mad jealoustroll and disgruntled because his blacks dont exist ,and he lacks ancient high culture, which he seeks to rob from these ancient noble people by instilling his B.S blackwash . Stupid, Garamantes were black: "The Sahara and the Garamantes were a Neolithic civilization combining fishing and stock raising. They were Negroid peoples with a pastoral economy." www.csupomona.edu/~mibrahim/hst.329/NA.antiquity.htmlThose people aren't 'gracile Meds', those are Saharan Elongated types. Close-ups: 1) 2) 3) Clear gracile mediterranid (--saharid) morphology, not to mention the hair type.

I'm sorry Bass, but none of your sources speak about racial types, they just use vague words like "compares well" with the modern Tuareg. Even the website I linked to says the same thing, I don't want PC statements, I want the racial composition of Garamantes, unfortunately there's been only two anthropological studies about them : italien Sergi and Marie-Claude Chamla, both of them give the same frequencies of racial types: 25% mixed, 50% saharid, 25% negroid. (probably slaves)

LOL read a history book crimsonbum. Thats your next homework assignment, leave this site (ASAP lol) and go google some history or something. Your ignorant statements are just ridiculous in this day and age. Get out, see the world, and enlargen your experience. Ignorance is deadly. A little something to start you off with: West-central african city (1700's)
