First off, what is a roman nose? Can someone post a good example of one. Not on a sculpture either. I mean of a real Italian with a so called "roman nose."
How does it differ from the so called Jew nose?
a roman nose is bulbous, but not neccisarliy convex, it is quite broad but not like a SSAs. it looks almost broken, its strong and masculine. a jewish nose can be any width or length but it is stereotypically convex and hooked almost, like some central asians (afghans and norther iranians/indians) the pic at the bottom of your pic looks like the guy has a roman nose.
Gelaye's right. Roman noses are not necessarily convex, but rather straight, just very prominent and rather large. This type of nose is most typical for European Dinarics. A stereotypical Jewish nose is essentially the Armenoid nose, which is often hooked or convex.
Some here have said that my nose is hooked, it's not actually. My nose, while long and fairly wide, is straight, making it a Roman nose.

There are attempts to elide the "Roman nose" with the Middle Eastern "hooked nose," but the English had something very different in mind when coining the phrase. Short of the Middle Eastern merchant, they thought of the European version--exemplified by actor Chris Noth's nose:
It juts off his profile like the blade of a knife. It is aquiline, but not "hooked".
Another famous example would be Abraham Lincoln:
Both of these personages present quite a different nasal profile than, say, this Palestinian:
I think that the main difference is the tip--which is sharper on the hooked nose. Also the bridge. On Noth and Lincoln, it's a smooth transition, whereas in the Middle Easterner there's an abrupt break. Also Middle Easterners tend to have far larger noses, with respect to their other facial features--whereas the Roman nose is aquiline in shape, but not overwhelming with regard to the neighboring eyes and mouth. Here's a poor girl who underwent surgery to try and mask her "ethnicity":

are you sure? I think the 'jewish' nose is rather distinc and more soft-flashy, the roman nose is rather lean or indeed average in thickness, not really bulbous.
Yes, I'm sure. There are minor differences, but both are convex/aquiline noses of varying degrees. Just don't tell a European Christian they have a Jewish nose even if they do. I can guarantee they'll take it as an insult.

John Lennon's one of the very few Europeans with the truly Middle Eastern hooked nose. If you darkened his auburn hair and threw Arab clothes on him, nobody would think he stood out in a crowd of Saudi oil tycoons.
