GWB looks like typical german american, the convex nose is quite common in the german americans I know as is the wide mouth thin lipped mouth and and promient mid face that GWB has. He has significant portion of Old american british in his ancestry as well and think it more obvious when he was young.

The Bush family's genealogy has been so exhaustively studied that he's a very poor candidate for being a "crypto-Jew". We know every aspect of this man's past and nope: No Jewish blood. He's almost entirely Anglo-Saxon, with a few genealogical digressions into Ireland. Interestingly, the Bush family DOES have very faint Amerindic blood. They're distantly related to Pokahontas. That was back in the 1600s, though. So I doubt if his "aquiline" nose is due to that. [My theory is--just as with John Lennon's hooked nose--Bush gets it from some Irish ancestor on his mother's side. Bush Sr. has a patrician nose--and sadly, the son resembles his father in only the loose way that a misspelling resembles the word it's trying to convey.]

George W. Bush Jewish? Now we're really stretching things here. The Bush family is of old WASP stock, with probably some German thrown in, and I suppose some Amerindian. As for Bush's mother's family, they're probably of similar heritage. There could be Irish on either side as well I suppose.

Bush's appearance is closer to that of his mother's imo. The senior Bush has more of a British look to me. GWB looks more like a German-Irish mix.

He's mixed with Amerindian,Irish, and English,with royalty in him as most American Nobilty...So its very possible he has Jewish genes.Much like Colin Powell is made up of WASP genes going back to the british royal family aswel.

As recently as the mid-Twentieth Century, Jews were barred from "white" country clubs, excluded from Harvard, and locked out of the patrician Anglo-Saxon society that gave birth to George W. Bush. So, no, Jews were not part of the "upper crust" of America. They first arrived in the late 19th Century as poverty-stricken outcastes--entering America as "rag-men," usurers, tailors and--sadly--criminals. [Remember Meyer Lansky and his organization of the modern crime syndicate. Or Arnold Rothstein's fixing of the 1919 World-series. Jewish gangsters actually outnumbered Italian gangsters!] So, no, when Jews arrived in America in the late 1800s they were exactly the type of "disagreeable element" that Bush's pasty, imbred people looked down upon. [Think Mr. Burns from "The Simpsons".]
As for Bush's genealogy, it's one of the most-thoroughly researched in the world: So, no, no Jews. Not even close. Remember: England expelled the Jews in the Middle Ages. They were only allowed to return centuries later after Oliver Cromwell. So Bush's gene pool is so far removed from an environment that would have even made it possible. Sorry, but history is evil, unfair--people didn't mix like in the modern jet-age, with a million different ethnicities and nationalities all in one school.
P.S.--Prescott Bush was very friendly with Nazi Germany and in fact made quite a lot of money in investments there. He was even sanctioned for his ties to Germany after it was declared illegal to continue doing business there.

Just to show you how much I know on the subject . . . the first Jews in America were Sephardic Jews [who originated in Spain]. They arrived in the American colonies from Brazil. One of the most respected Sephardic-Jewish families was the Solis-Cohen family in Philadelphia [which still lives there].
This original smattering of Jews was tiny. The first massive wave of Jewish immigration didn't happen until the late 19th Century from Eastern Europe--when millions of Jews flooded the US . . . and stirred up old welters of antisemitism.

P.S.--The original colony of Spanish-Jews (who were distinguished doctors and jurists) detested the Eastern-Europeans (who were usually unskilled people, many of whom were even illiterate). The Solis-Cohen family even sued one Eastern-European family that tried to adopt their surname.

Wow! We're making such progress as a society! I KNOW we are--and I'm not being facetious--because Crimson has no consciousness whatsoever of antisemitism or the historical barriers thrown up against Jews. He thinks that they moved around easily in the "upper classes" of American society in the past. He's obviously unaware of Edith Wharton's "House of Mirth," in which the "upstart" Jewish character named Simon Rosedale [born, Rosenthal] is viewed with contempt by the wealthy Gentiles, or the fact that when the poet Ezra Pound was born, the newspaper announcement was right next to a hotel notice, announcing that they "do not cater to Hebrews". Likewise, he doesn't know that Eleanor Roosevelt's family didn't allow her to get her teeth fixed because "cosmetic surgery" was what "Jews did". Even as late as 1980, the comedy "Caddy Shack" [written and directed by a Jew] tells the story of the mayhem that ensues when a Jew tries to join a WASP country club.
I'm glad to see that most modern Gentile-Americans are unaware that there are so many "Jewish country clubs" because white Christians wouldn't admit Jews to their clubs.
I think we're making progress as a society--because the young look back over history and assume it was as enlightened (and multi-cultural) as it is today.

That is obviously nonsense. The first black graduated from Harvard in 1870, the first Amerindian in 1665. Oh but Jews were excluded until the mid-twentieth century?
