Hard to determine, seems to be another case of rather Acromegaloid tendencies and the picture is not that clear.

What about this man--what do you think? Excellent American guitarist I saw last night play in concert--last name is Kaukonen (Finnish or Swedish?). He has just about the biggest browridges I've ever seen. these browridges do look quite 'neanderthalesque'.

Picture of same man when young (Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna). He runs this place: It looks like an ideal place for those wanting to go to 'guitar school' in Ohio. www.furpeaceranch.com/

Agrippa, your system seems very well-established. Have you considered posting a gallery detailing your system's various types, their various affiliations, and photographic examples? I am sure such an effort would be greatly appreciated.

I prefer to post plates of anthropologists since its hard to get proper images for the different categories, people without make up, correct head position etc.
I posted those plates on Skadi and Stirpes and will post more in the future probably. Furthermore Gareth was so friendly to load the stuff up to image-hosting sites so its available in a thread here on Dodona too. Otherwise I can just work on a more complete system on my own, but that would be a lot of work - time intensive.
So far I'm still not ready to begin with making an article about growth tendencies, very important for the distinction of leptomorphy-pyknomorphy, hyper- and hypoplasy and general proportions and maturation levels. Important both from the constitutional perspective as well as for the concept of racially progressive types if comparing them with infantile ones.
@murph: In younger age he looks pretty much like a Cromagnid, no real Lappoid influence then and not that deformed. Probably its just the other picture (light, perspective etc.).

I was wondering if it is a common occurrence when a person ages for the browridges to become more prominent (not in cases of acromegaly). Mr. Kaukonen looks more UP with age.

Thats quite common - especially in rather Cromagnoid and Cromagnoid mixed types I'd say, but his example is rather extreme...

I am not suggesting that you should produce something on a huge scale, but I would be interested in familiarizing myself with the system. I hope you post it at Dodona.

Finally we have in Europe just a limited number of types, as Dienekes pointed out too, with all forms in between. Racial types are evolutionary tendencies, I wrote about that here: forum.skadi.net/showthread.php?p=343363F.e. inside the leptodolichomorphic spectrum we see a decrease of height, robustness, pigmentation from the Skandonordid to the Gracilmediterranid type, with all steps in between. Inside the Cromagnoid spectrum, we can observe Alpinisation and Baltisation = brachymorphised, reduced, partly infantilised and/or borealised variants if going from Cromagnid/Dalofaelid to Eastbaltid. Lappoid being the most extreme infantile-borealised form in Europe so being on one end of the spectrum, everything explained in the threads. The thread on Dodona: dodona.proboards35.com/index.cgi?board=physanth&action=display&thread=1133923297&page=1Forrester made a very valuable contribution too with which I can just agree with (98 percent) and I quoted in the thread too.

Thanks for pointing me to that thread. I realize it may be tedious work to always have to re-introduce the terminology to newbies on the forum, so I extend my gratitude to you.
