He never said. You have to speculate. I think Alexandrian left because he'd had enough of foreigners telling him about his country. I think Kalashnikov left because he was miffed at the rudeness and having his Europeanness questioned, I mean the Pakistani crap. This board has been renovated, but the standards have become like RAS. I don't like reading six posts to find out what the thread poster is trying to do, usually stating stuff some little illiterate old man from some hick town in some God forsaken part of some country would say about Greeks, Arabs, Italians, Spaniards and Egyptians. I don't need that. Vela probably had enough. As Italians say, basta.

Ponto, you´re wrong. Vela had his own personal reasons for leaving, yet, as far as I know, it had nothing to do with this board. We moderators do care about standards, which is why I just banned b199er, of RAS Forum fame, in his current incarnation as Intermedioid. What you´re asking us to do is censor ideas, which goes against forum regulations. Personally, anti-med posts do not bother me in the least. I´ve grown a thick skin, following your own recomendations.

I was just speculating. With Kalashnikov, I do believe he was very offended by the Pakistani jibe. I wasn't implying censorship. I just thought that I can go to Stormfront and get the same type of garbage, like Indo-Europeans were blond or the Romans who spoke an IE language were blond. I don't expect much from them. On this board I do expect a higher standard and the ability to verify the truth of the writings of Tacitus and the other commentators on physical appearance of ancient peoples. Tacitus, Herodotus relied on second and third hand information.

Ponto, Vela left for reasons known to him only...all we could do at the moment is reminisce on his wonderful contributions that we will sorely miss
