Black? Mulatto is more like it. Vanessa Williams isn't a mulatto stupid, proves you know nothing. Personal insults are not allowed

You're both making assumptions of what a person possibly thinks when they tell a person of a different race they are beautiful. You have a good head on your shoulders. Your common sense is refreshing.

Give me a break! It's a compliment. There's a big difference between "she's beautiful" and "she's beautiful for a Black girl". Some people get offended at the drop of a hat. Huh? LOL I guess that "huh?" refers to the last sentence in my previous post. In other words, some people get offended by everything.

In other words, some people get offended by everything. I guess you don't know how offensive it is to hear someone say, 'You are a preeetty black girl." What am I supposed to assume they mean?

Uh, that was the exact point that I made in my first post. I said that there was a difference between "you're pretty" and "you're pretty for a Black girl". The latter phrase is offensive. If this post confuses you too, take a reading comprehension class.

If this post confuses you too, take a reading comprehension class. Yes, the latter is offensive. But then you said, "Some people get offended by anything." That doesn't follow. Don't get cute with me. Nobody's offended by someone saying 'you are pretty' in isolation.

It stands to reason that I was referring to the whole subject when I said that some people get offended at the drop of a hat. Logical people would understand that.

The whole subject is a person complimenting another's beauty with other thoughts in mind, besides the person's beauty. The whole subject is what I adressed in my post. That's getting offended too easily? Can you make up your mind?

Jack Reed I understood the context of your statement. You were differentiating sincerity from insult. Pretty simple.

Jack Reed I understood the context of your statement. You were differentiating sincerity from insult. Pretty simple. Don't try and stalk me, honey. I will make you look foolish. You are very funny. Please scroll up and you will see I posted in this thread days ago. You cannot dominate threads and tell people not to post. You have serious issues and control problems.

You have serious issues and control problems. Don't lay your passive-aggressive bull at my door. I'm not passive-aggressive. I've never NOT gotten along with anyone in my life so this is really strange to me. I'm serious. YOu can't see/hear me so it's just wierd to have a battle ensue in small phrases. If you only knew me you wouldn't be aggressive towardws me. What I do for a living is quite the opposite of what has occured here.
