Well, yes, meaning that, as already said time ago, if A looks like B, B is aoid or A is boid depending if you are a A or a B. It's just another way to say "look like".

If A looks like B, then a C(or more letters) is needed.

As also just said, imo beautiful people all follow an universal standard so tend to resemble each other much more than they resemble the uglier of their kin. I'm pretty sure measurements on models would prove they are a "race apart".

Ok, this is not really talking to you anymore as it is addressing the subject.
Well, there is universal archetypes of beauty and then there is racial characteristics on top of that.

The racial characteristics that distinguish a "Caucasoid" must have a standard. It can't be everything. It doesn't own a monopoly on "clear" facial features, clear facial features does not equal "Caucasoid". This is an important concept to realize.

Eva Langoria has clear "Caucasoid" morphology, even though not all of her looks may be from Europe or even the Near/Mid east.

Gwen Stephani doesn't:

In fact, I know personally of Asian girls who if they dyed their hair, would look sort of like Gwen. Does that mean these Asian girls look "Caucasoid"? No, since that would mean "Caucasoid" is both A and C.

These Asian girls and Gwen may approach some middle ground but I can't really endorse laziness in words in myself or anyone else anymore because they reinforce something that's not true. And this has nothing to do with political correctness.

Wow, I never thought that a thread asking to classify an excellent Japanese actor would turn into such a heated discussion.

::) Ok, no offense, but read this and you'll realize something, unless you made the same comment in all the threads debating over the classification of "Caucasids".

How many endless threads classifying Europeans as this or that ends up being a dozen page debate about whether someone is Med or half black?

Not everyone on earth has the same interests.

How many threads about various Asians have been laid here where the comments end up being "Looks Caucasid"?

It's atleast worth discussing over atleast once, isn't it, from an Asian's point of view, since the progressive members of our society are all Caucasians. It matters not much to Europeans, of course.

Maybe those facial charachteristics that distinguish the different races are not perceived as beautiful when very pronounced (eg: too leptorrine or too camerrine nose; strong facial relief or weak facial relief), thus people who are perceived as beautiful are on average more racially ambiguous looking.
Maybe this could be traced in an originary archetype of beauty before races differentiation (not that the reconstructions of our ancestors are of any help in this, though, they look ugly). I said maybe, it's just a out of ass idea.

What do you mean for "clear" features?

I didn't say that there was anything wrong with it, I was just surprised, honestly. If it's any reassurance to you, I don't think that Mifune looks Caucasoid.

It's hard to read the tone of a post, sometimes.

My reply to you was more in the spirit of "You are really surprised that it led to a debate???"

I think people regard features that are clearly defined as more beautiful.

A clearly defined nose is better looking than a bulbous, swollen, fleshy wide nose.

You can't over define it of course, as the case with our Tajik friend up there.

Could men like him have ever migrated into Scandinavia? I wonder if men like him were the source of the troll myth. I found the nasal resemblance to be striking:
