I think castiza would be a better word to define Jessica Alba, but that term is seldom, if ever really, used.

They use here Euro-mestiza instead of Castiza. Jessica Alba is to dark to be considered Euro-mestiza.

Her skin tone is similar to that of Antonio Banderas, and he's a full blooded European man.

well she is a mutt yea, but nothing typical about her IMO...she's as exotic as you can get. I dont know what is so amerindian about her contoured cheek-bones or her full lips and high sloping forhead, these particular features are the exact opposite of what you'd find on a mexican mestiza...mestiza look pseudo-mongol. And only in certain angles does she look a bit filipino-like, but in most of her photos she looks like an Adriana Lima type whose caucasian component isnt swarthy Portugese, but pale North European Dane/French

i don't think so,Jessica Alba is brown,Banderas is olive skin.

Someone like George Lopez or Erik Estrada is what I would call brown.

hey - nice to wake up and find your post already has 3 pages of replies lol

when i said she looks half aethiopid remember aethiopids dont look fully negroid anyway and if anyone can remember the post that had pics of mixed race aethiopids there was a woman who looked VERY similar to jessica alba

the things that are aethiopid about her are her forehead, mouth and bone structure (just my opinion anyway)

and im not CLAIMING her or anything so dont accuse me haha i was just asking if you guys thyought that too

and i know she isnt half ethiopian lol

i would say first Arab, don't know why, but the pretty girl strikes me as Arab, i've already seen many Arab girls with such type.
with a name like "Alba", it would be ironic if she has some ss african admixture.

Reference any bio on Miss Alba and her mother is reported as French-Danish and at other times her father is reported as being Spanish. Personally I don't think she looks European, I can detect some east Asian traits (which I guess being Mexican comes from NA). At times she reminds me of Phoebe Cates.

I don't think she has Negroid traits, I think it's the opposite actually- that is, black women trying to look different and more 'Latina' rather than Latina's looking like them. Beyonce is the most guilty culprit of this, her attempts to look like Jennifer Lopez have been quite amusing.

Yes, 'Alba' of course meaning white. It is also the Gaelic name for Scotland. Not that I assume Alba has any Scots ancestry!!

This girl resemble Jessica Alba a lot , and she is Black.

They do share similarities, particularly in their facial shape and eyes. However, both girls doshare ancestry from their Caucasian side and this can create similarities.
